You Can Share

Jesus invited his disciples to follow with these words, “Come, follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

That invitation sounds a lot like love God (follow me) and love people (become people who lead people to Jesus).

These two commandments summarized the law and prophets—that’s a look back in time and epitomize the New Testament—a look forward.

So why is it?

If I ask a person if they have a plan for loving God, they can quickly name off that they will read their Bible, pray, attend a group, go to worship, and even throw in a spiritual discipline like fasting.

But if I ask the plan for loving their neighbor, there is often a long pause.

It’s not as obvious.

What is your plan?

At lovekc.net we equip Jesus followers to live their faith with confidence and know what to say to their friends about Jesus.
